Food Capital is a tranquil and capacious all-day-dining and buffet restaurant by the riverside in Singapore. The restaurant presents guests with an array of indulgent delights with the main island counter; featuring the Patisserie and the Seafood-on-Ice section taking the centre stage.
Food Capital’s main dining area consists of full-height floor to ceiling glass windows, providing ample lighting while creating a warm and welcoming ambience for guests along with the scenic view of the Singapore River. Popular selections among diners include the Canadian Snow Crab Leg, Chilean Scallop, Oven Roasted Chicken, Australian Beef Rib Eye with Red Wine Jus and many more local favourites, served from the variety of stations around the buffet line.
Not to be missed are also the crowd favourites – Fresh Sashimi and Signature Laksa. Finding your way around, look out for our whole section of zesty delights where you find an array of international and Asian cuisines, along with the crowd favourites such as the Tandoor Grill dishes.

good: the cooked food is yummy. selection of dessert is acceptable. sashimi is fresh laksa is one of the best I have tasted bad: the selection of food is too little, the chilli crab is not fresh. seafood counter took a very long time to forever to topup the oyster and crab leg. only 1 staff to wash, open and serve the oyster while a long queue of customer is waiting in line. clearly understaff. overall: I have paid about $80++ per pax on a weekend dinner, and I don't think the experience is worth the value. personally I will not return again

It's was an embarrassing situation for me. I have diverted my friends from going to Novotel @Stevens (98++) to Food Capital (128++) for the lobster buffet but was shocked to be told that each diner only entitled to half a lobster. For a much lower price, there are buffets with unlimited oysters and lobsters at good hotels. The menu also did not mention that lobster is 1-serving.
