about

Chinese hotpots are easily found within Singapore, but the one served at Xiang Guo Li Lia originates from the Jinyun Mountain in Chongqing. A fusion of local spicy flavours, it is a common dish of the local folk there, and is characterised by its fresh, spicy and fragrant herbs. Alternatively, diners can also choose from a variety of dishes, such as mapo tofu rice, potato pork rib rice and braised fish fillet rice.

The mala has very fresh ingredients, balanced 'ma' (numbing sensation) and 'la' (spice) and unique wokhey flavour to it. Probably one of the best malas I have tried so far in the city area.
