Description
They started as a coffeeshop zi char restaurant in Toa Payoh, but Yi Jia South Village has since grown into a full-fledged seafood restaurant now in Macpherson Road. Among the many delights they serve at affordable prices are the salted egg crab, curry fish head and their signature honeydew prawns. For the latter, the prawns are served in a secret sauce made from honeydew, all served in the melon itself – a true must-try for visitors here.

Food is tasty n comes in generous portion. Staff are friendly n give good recommendation. Ambience is good. Ample space between tables. Worth repeated visits.

Although the meal was very good but I feel that they should not impose on the crackers which they forced us to take. We hardly touched the crackers which tasted so unpalatable.

Scrumptious food with wonderful service from the two ladies despite using Eatigo discount. The uncle outside the restaurant who brought us in also had a smile on his face. This really brightened us up. Not only that, they have a wide variety of food in the menu to choose from. The chilli crab is fresh and delicious without the strong tomato taste in the sauce. The caipo tofu is really good. I will definitely dine again.
