Dear Team I recently dined at your Plaza Singapura outlet on 20 Aug 2025 and would like to seek clarification regarding the service charge on my bill. From the receipt, the details are as follows : Food subtotal - $131.20 Discount - $34.92 Subtotal after discount $96.28 Service charge added $13.12 (calculated on the original subtotal GST : $9.85 Final bill charged $119.25 However, if the 10% charge were calculated after the discount (which is the standard practice at most restaurants, the breakdown shd be : Subtotal after discount $96.28 Service charge (10%) $9.63 Subtotal $105.91 GST (9%) : $9.53 Correct total $115.44 This shows a difference of $3.81 Could you kindly confirm if it is your restaurant's policy to calculate service charge on the original amount before discount rather than after discount.
