Now that the dearly loved Japanese station in Red Oven has been turned into a standalone restaurant, you can feast on its quality ingredients and finest produce (mostly from Tajima, in Hyogo Prefecture, where it is famous for the unspoiled nature and environmentally-friendly farming methods) in a more exclusive manner with a choice of a la carte and all-you-can-eat lunch and dinner. Located on the 7th floor of SO Sofitel Bangkok, the place is led by Chef Sornarin, whose main duty is to ensure that every dish is exceptionally made and bursts with flavors, and an impressive selection of Japanese contemporary twists and classical dishes are always on the list. Must-tries and signatures range from hand-cut sushi, sashimi, and maki to charcoal-grilled meats and wagyu niku yaki don.

It's a decent place, I think it works very well for dates. Although even after the discounts the price feels expensive and almost 20 percent of the total gets added after discount in the form of service and vat. The drinks are expensive as well. the staff is nice and polite.
