The food is good quality and the staff were very nice and accommodating. I have visited this particular branch once before in March of last year, and my experience wasn't that good. The buffet spread ran out pretty quickly because there were a lot of customers and the replenishing took a while. I also noticed there seems to be more staff now than my first visit (as far as I can remember) Thankfully, this 2nd time around was an improvement. I think it's best to book here on a weekday with less customers so you wouldn't have a hard time with getting meat and other premium ingredients. The imperial set with the options that were unlimited but upon request were all worth it I would say. They also let you know that the tempura platter takes 15 to 20 minutes because they're cooked fresh. (this was our favorite) Overall, I'm glad I gave Lan Hot Pot Lucky Chinatown a 2nd chance! The service was great, the quality is worth the price, and the place is really tidy. (Small little nitpick lang, medyo nainitan kami ng kasama ko, maybe they could increase their air-conditioning?) If you're a small group, around 2-4, I think you would also enjoy here. If you're planning to go with a larger party, I would suggest a different branch like in The Shops at Grand Central Mall in BGC. I've visited that branch on a busy holiday and despite the many customers, the replenishing of the spread was very fast.
