One would expect Amakase dining is set in a reasonably nice and relaxing, ambient environment with comfortable seating but this @Beppu turned out to be awkward. Tables are lined up so close that we literally hear our neighbours even whispering. Plating of dishes done in one go like those in tour group meals; setting like any fast food chain. Yep, no finesse you may say, no music in the restaurant making the diners very tense! So much of a hype in Amakase dining - disappointed.
