Rooted in the ancient trade village of Tukche, Mustang, our cuisine celebrates the legendary Thakali kitchen — known for its balanced flavors, nourishing ingredients, and time-honored techniques. Every dish tells a story of mountain warmth, honest cooking, and generations of culinary wisdom.
At the heart of our kitchen are the Thakali Sisters, co-owners of Cafe de Tukche Thakali, who continue to personally safeguard and control the recipes and taste profiles, ensuring that every dish served in Malaysia carries the same authenticity as our Kathmandu kitchen.
