Not crowded place good to eat and relax.

This hotel is former Peninsular Excelsior. No complimentary parking. I went during CNY, there was free Yusheng and baked oyster-one serving. The food overall is not bad given is 50% off. Cold dishes-prawns, clam. Pasta live cooked and porridge cook on the spot. Fruit corner. The nian gao is exceptionally good, crispy in tiny bite size. However, desserts were overly sweet. I hope they don’t add that much sugar. There were curry, satay(abit over cooked cos hard). Century egg as cold dish. Salad corner. I think is good overall.

Selection very little. staff crowd at one corner chit chatting away and not clearing the plates or replenish food. Called in earlier to ask about the menu, and specifically asked if they served oyster on ice or sashimi. The staff rudely replied yes have and say this is international buffet have Japanese food , do u know international and Peranakan buffet? Ends up , no oyster on ice , no Japanese sashimi . Very bad.

My first time there was great and i highly recommended to my family. Brought them to try and it was my second visit. It was disappointing. the roast chicken tasted like those sold in fairprice. one of the coffee machine was out of milk,no one replenish and they just put a cup to prevent diners using it. service staff dragging her feet while walking and you could hear the sound of her dragging the shoes. My both days experience was very different. It was just 1 week apart..

We left feeling disappointed and would not recommend this place to our friends.
