We arrived earlier than our reservation time only to be surprised that the restaurant was still closed. I reminded myself that we were in Baguio where life moves at a slower pace, so I thought maybe they were just preparing to open. Since my husband was already craving coffee (he’s a coffee addict, haha), he asked me to call their number. When I called, I was told that they had no record of our reservation. A few minutes later, a staff member came out and again confirmed that they didn’t receive any booking for that day. They said they had food inside, but since nothing was prepared, it would take about 30 -45 minutes—and to make things worse, they had no coffee at all. They did apologize and mentioned that they would update their menu and the app, but honestly, for a business, this is disappointing. Poor communication, unprepared staff, and no coffee in a place where guests expect to dine—it doesn’t leave a good impression.
