⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Fantastic Dining Experience – Delicious Food and Excellent Value! Had a thoroughly enjoyable meal at Verandah@Rael’s at 111 Somerset, and I must say, the food exceeded my expectations! Every dish we ordered was delicious, and the 50% discount made the experience even sweeter. Here’s what we had (all prices are after the 50% discount): 🥔 Potato Dippers with Truffle Mayo ($4.45) Think of these as a cross between potato wedges and thick-cut chips, with pieces of varying sizes and thicknesses. Nicely fried and paired with a delicious truffle mayo that really elevated the dish. A great way to start the meal! 🍢 Chicken Satay – 10 Pieces ($4.95) We ordered this to share, and it was absolutely fantastic! At less than $5 for 10 pieces, it was an incredible deal. Definitely one of the highlights of our meal. 🍝 Prawn Pesto Cream Linguine ($9.45) A very enjoyable pasta dish that came with a generous serving of prawns! It’s always nice when a restaurant doesn’t skimp on the seafood, and this certainly didn’t disappoint. The creamy pesto sauce complemented the linguine beautifully. 🥩 Premium New Zealand Ribeye Steak on Hot Stone ($14.95) This was very, very good! Served on a hot stone, the ribeye was thoroughly enjoyable and easily one of the standout dishes of the evening. At just $14.95 after discount, this was exceptional value for a premium steak. 🍮 Panna Cotta with Pulut Hitam and Coconut Sauce Now, this dessert deserves a special mention because I absolutely loved it! It was a beautifully layered creation with three distinct components: a panna cotta base, a layer of pulut hitam (black glutinous rice), and a topping of coconut sauce. What made this dessert so memorable was how wonderfully the different elements came together. The combination of the creamy panna cotta, traditional pulut hitam and coconut sauce was simply delightful. Most importantly, it wasn’t overly sweet, which made it even more enjoyable. This was easily one of my favourite parts of the entire meal. A fantastic dessert that I would happily order again! ⭐ Overall Verdict Verandah@Rael’s is genuinely a fantastic place to dine. Every dish we ordered was enjoyable, with the ribeye steak, chicken satay and especially the panna cotta leaving a lasting impression. What I particularly appreciate is that even without the 50% discount, I would still consider this a worthwhile dining experience. The quality of the food speaks for itself. The discount simply made an already enjoyable meal an absolute steal! It’s refreshing to find a restaurant where you leave feeling genuinely satisfied with both the food and the value. Would I return? Without a doubt! I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Prices are very reasonable given the quality of food. Satays and fish and chips are good. The chips are potato slices with skin, not the usual frozen french fries and the sambal Mayo dip goes well. Dessert Panna Cotta is good, not too sweet with hints of saltines. Clean bright decor and not noisy as we were early. Services were prompt and friendly. water served free. Only suggestion may be is to have a clearer positioning on what the restaurant best dishes.. western..peranakan... Overall happy to have dined here.. will revisit if I'm around orchard

Enjoyed the fish & chips and satay here! Loved that they used Barramundi for the fish as it tasted flaky without much "fishy" taste. Nicely seasoned and the batter was crispy. The duo potatoes (consisting of crisps and wedges) were fresh and crispy

This restaurant is a must-visit!!! It's perfect in every way. The food is delicious. You can taste the care taken in preparing the dishes, both in the flavor and the way they're served. We tried the Crispy Barramundi Fish - perfectly fried, with a crispy crust and incredibly crunchy and moist inside; the Premium New Zealand Ribeye - perfectly grilled and finished cooking at the table on a hot stone, resulting in a perfectly cooked and succulent steak, which we loved; and the Prawn Pesto Linguine - the best pesto sauce we ate in Singapore, perfectly seasoned and impeccably succulent, the prawns moist and with a smoky flavor, perfect. And to top off our family lunch, we were greeted with great attention and friendliness by the staff, who were always attentive to whether we needed anything else. We will definitely return to try the other dishes.

Spaghetti Bolognaise and ribeye was awesome👌loved that I could "cook" my own steak to how I like it. Price is very reasonable with attentive staff. will come back !

Only ambience is lacking since it is inside a mall, else food and service is good

Very enjoyable meal. Batang otah2 and meatball soup well seasoned. Chicken satay had a slightly crusty layer yet the meat is still succulent. Chili sambal adds extra dimension to the otah2 and meat ball. Panna cotta with pulut hitam has a sweet and slightly salty contrast. Service by Ms Emma is top notched.

All the food and place quite nice.
