*One of the best buffets in town!* Place was posh! You feel it the moment you walk into Sofitel. Ambiance is upscale but still comfortable. Service was excellent - attentive, fast, and really professional. Food was amazing - everything is cooked immediately after you order, so it's all served hot and fresh. Love the concept that it's à la carte buffet - you order from the menu and can reorder unlimited times. No rushing to the buffet line, no food sitting out. Quality over quantity and you can taste it. Every plate felt like a fine-dining dish. Great for dates and small friend gatherings - quiet enough to talk, posh enough to impress. Will definitely return! 5/5

Service was prompt and dishes were well cooked overall. We tried everything on the menu. Chicken Satay was fragrant, smoky & juicy, w just the right amt of char. Angus Beef Cheek was so tender, it melted in our mouths. Turmeric-infused coconut cream was creamy & satisfyingly lemak. Singapore Style Hokkien Mee was packed w squid, tiger prawns & roasted pork slices, all coated in a rich, deeply umami stock. Nyonya Assam Curry Snapper was served fresh in a mildly spicy, tangy curry.

rare to see seafood served during lunch period. good and fresh. speed of topping up is acceptable

Ambience is very nice but definitely not worth the price even though we got 50% off as so few varieties and the Ala carte dishes are not unlike normal buffet where we will go for few servings, after 2 servings of the limited Ala carte dishes (I.e sweet sour pork, beef rendang, satay, fried fish) , you are kind of done, not because you are full but no other things to eat anymore. Also no there’s no vegetables no fruits no drinks in the buffet. Only plain water. Need to pay for the tea, coffee and soft drinks. We didn’t enjoy the “buffet” at all.

disappointment....may considered as hawker food, at below average standard overall. maybe a couple dishes met quality but overall not worth the cents paid even at 50pc off. will not return.

Not that great compared with the price

We are family of 5 going for lunch on Sunday. There are ala carte and set lunch menu to choose from. Decent variety of food and good ambience. Staff/crew are attentive, really friendly and go beyond. When they know we are celebrating our mom’s birthday, they give us a complimentary birthday cake/brownie, without even asking for it. Such a kind gesture and really appreciated! :-) And, with eatigo discount, it is really a plus. All of us enjoyed it, definitely worth a visit! 👍👍👍

Visited on 08th Aug 26 for their brunch with 50% offer. The live band featuring nostalgic songs was a particularly nice touch added to the pleasant atmosphere. Foods selection was decent with live carved suckling pig. However was a disappointed as expected might have a fresh durian counter which unfortunately not available..!! Overall, Racines a good choice to have a 50% off before ++. Therefore, l feel only with a discount price is quite good compared with paying a full price.

We had black cod & alberico pork . The black cod was perfectly cooked. it had crispy skin & the cod melted in our mouth. The pork was also very flavourful . Paris Brest dessert was very yummy too
