Thus is the fourth time I patronised Courtyard. First time was the lunch buffet, second and third times were the durian buffet. The durians were pretty good and satisfying, hope to go to Courtyard again for the durian buffet in the next season. For this fourth time, the satays and thd peanut sauce were still as good. All the desserts especially the assorted chocolates and cakes were overly sweet. Hope that the sweetness could be reduced by at least 30 to 40%. The sashimi, mussels and the other small amount and limited choices if seafood were not fresh and tasted way below average.

The satays and the accompanying peanut souce were very good, the best in the buffets of all hotels in malaysia. kudos to the saray chef! The dessert spread was very good, with plentiful choices, ranging from cakes, local kuehs, chocolates to ice cream. Unfortunately they all tasted overly sweet especially the assorted chocolates. All these desserts would be perfect 10 if the sweet levels were reduced by 30 to 40%. The asam laksa was extremely substandard, the gravy looked like ordinary soup without any taste of fish, and worst still, tasteless. I think the chef forgot to add in salt. I told one of the waiting staff, not sure if he informed the chef subsequently. I was surprised to note that this dish was named asam laksa, as it did not taste like asam laksa at all.

EAtigo not transparent being exact figure how much should stated in app after rebate... Which I very disappointing... End up paying more...
