Came here for my birthday! They have a beef wagyu section—omaigad, perfect for beef lovers! The ambience is super cozy, quite romantic and warm too. Haha, totally love it! Just wish they had a bit more variety on the menu 😆

Based on my personal buffet dining experiences at various hotels around the Klang Valley, I found that the taste and quality of the food at this particular venue left much to be desired. Many of the dishes were overly salty, the seafood was not as fresh as expected, and several items advertised beforehand were unavailable upon arrival. Additionally, the air-conditioning system appeared to be malfunctioning. A few portable cooling units were placed around the dining area, but they were clearly insufficient — many diners were visibly uncomfortable and frequently wiping away sweat while eating. The selection of food was also extremely limited compared to other hotel buffets I’ve tried. Overall, it was quite a disappointing experience.

I made a reservation for 11 pax to treat my team after a hectic month, but unfortunately, the buffet experience was very disappointing. At the seafood area, there were no prawns displayed — you had to request them — and the crabs were extremely small. The bamboo clam wasn’t fresh, and overall, the food presentation was poorly done. Even the fruit station only had about three small plates of cut fruit, which were constantly empty and not replenished in time. For a semi-premium buffet, the selection was very limited — only the incomplete seafood area, nyonya laksa, a few fruits, ice cream, dessert, somtam, and pasembur. That’s all. I’ve dined at many other hotel buffets, and this was truly surprising (in a bad way) coming from Park Royal. The quality and presentation need serious improvement to match the hotel’s reputation. Two star just because the staff serve me really well. Thats all. Food wise not worth the price.

Top buffet at Thyme in PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur – wonderful place with a great atmosphere and lots of choice. The food was really tasty and fresh, and the different live cooking stations made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

This is the first time there for celebration my hubby birthday. All staff are well trained, friendly, good service to all guest. Boston Lobster very fresh, the only thing have to improve is their Sashimi bar, salmon really not fresh so my son's very disappointed because Salmon is his favourite.
