If you want to experience Phuket like a local, try Thai food at Krua Khun Ta. This home-like, open-air space is another authentic local eatery in Phuket town (Wiset Road, Rawai). The decor is minimal at best but the recipes here are quite extraordinary. Though well-known by locals, the place has recently become popular with foodies from somewhere else.
