Sampiro shares the same name as the Poblacion historic church of St. Peter and Paul's nickname. Which is a throwback to old Manila during the Spanish era. GOOD: 1. The Turkish Cilbir With Sourdough reminded us of Shashuska with added hint of flavor of Za'atar. I like it. 2. Salted Egg Chicken & Waffle was delicious with spicy chili garlic honey on the side. 3. Eclectic interiors was visually interesting. 4. Servers were quick to serve and food plating was well thought of. 5. They have different menus for different times of the day which added to the diner's curiosity. COULD BE IMPROVED: 1. Not to nitpick but the Cilbir could use an extra slice of Sourdough to balance with the two eggs so pls consider making it 4 slices instead of 3.
