Food Capital is a tranquil and capacious all-day-dining and buffet restaurant by the riverside in Singapore. The restaurant presents guests with an array of indulgent delights with the main island counter; featuring the Patisserie and the Seafood-on-Ice section taking the centre stage.
Food Capital’s main dining area consists of full-height floor to ceiling glass windows, providing ample lighting while creating a warm and welcoming ambience for guests along with the scenic view of the Singapore River. Popular selections among diners include the Canadian Snow Crab Leg, Chilean Scallop, Oven Roasted Chicken, Australian Beef Rib Eye with Red Wine Jus and many more local favourites, served from the variety of stations around the buffet line.
Not to be missed are also the crowd favourites – Fresh Sashimi and Signature Laksa. Finding your way around, look out for our whole section of zesty delights where you find an array of international and Asian cuisines, along with the crowd favourites such as the Tandoor Grill dishes.

This was Sakura buffet, a good mix of international food along with Japanese specialities. Personally, I love the quality selection of salad, cheese, buns. End it with a good cup of coffee or from a wide choice of tea bags. Paid $80+ for 2px lunch. Highly recommended!

Price was reasonable w 50% off via eatigo. Will consider to revisit or recommend to others. Flow of dishes were good and the signature laksa was rich but a bit salty. Many dishes featured chicken but both lamb and pork knuckle shown in promo photos were not available. Since l visited during the MSW Durian Fiesta but was told at the last minute withdrawal of their live station. But it would have thoughtful to still provide some fresh durian (other variety beside MSW) at the fruit corner. On the positive side, front counter staff and service staff were friendly. A complimentary parking added convience to the overall experience.

Epicure brunch on Sunday offers great food with free flow mocktail. Only limitation is ice cream- only vanilla and strawberry.

I had hoped it would be a nice outing for my extended family for my younger daughter's birthday. But we were made to eat scraps. I even lost out to a chef who was just ahead of me to the last few strands of beef rendang. Although the restaurant surprised us with a birthday cake, we were hardly consoled. I promised my family this won't happen again. We then went to Song Fa to have a proper meal.
