I recently celebrated my mum’s birthday at Cafe Chef Wan through Eatigo, and it turned out to be such a memorable experience. For the main dishes, we ordered the nasi ulam ayam percik, nasi bukhari lamb kerutuk, and my mum chose the London fish and chips. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor—the ayam percik was rich and aromatic, while the lamb kerutuk was tender and well-seasoned. My mum especially enjoyed her fish and chips, which were perfectly cooked and satisfying. For the appetizer, we had the cucur udang, and it truly stood out. It was super crispy, even when it had cooled down, which is quite rare and impressive. Instead of a traditional birthday cake, we went for the golden caramel custard pudding as dessert—and it was the perfect choice. Smooth, not overly sweet, and a lovely way to end the meal while still making the celebration feel special. The ambience was easily 5-star—elegant, comfortable, and perfect for a family celebration. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive from start to end, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful birthday celebration for my mum.
