Unlike many coffee shops in town, Tarot Cafe is a kind of magical place where those who are fascinated by tarot cards and those who worship Ganesha have a chance to mingle over a cup of coffee, snacks, and even a meal. As soon as you close the door, the decors and everything in there will transport you to Little India right away. But for the food, this is absolutely not the place where you can expect to find spice-loaded curries; quite the contrary, there are lots of light snacks and organic raw dishes that are good for your health. Recommended items are golden tofu (deep-fried organic tofu) and tam khaophot (spicy corn somtum that uses yellow corn instead of papaya).
