Lao Dtom Lao

All Isan food fanatics must not miss this new (-ish) and kind of funky eatery on the 2nd floor of Seenspace Thong Lo 13. Apart from its rustic style of decor emphasising nature-inspired furnishings and dim lights, Lao Dtom Lao has also been known among hipster foodies for its excellent versions of authentic Laotian cuisine from Savannakhet province and a variety of other Asian fusion favorites. The food here is cooked by a Laotian chef, and many items on the menu are hard to find elsewhere. Iconic dishes you should try include pathe lao (an appetizer), crispy papaya and pickled prawn salad, and some charcoal grilled beef.
