about

It’s uncommon to speak about the Kosher diet in Thailand, but here we are. J Cafe Kosher is one of a few truly Kosher restaurants in Bangkok. Actually, it’s the only one we have heard so far. The place offers something like Israeli breakfast and baladi eggplant with tahini (deep-fried sliced eggplant in crunchy batter sprinkled with tahini and served with pickled lemon and crunchy pita triangles) as well as coffee, house bread, and cakes. To enjoy their food, book now and visit them on the 3rd floor of Mille Malle, Sukhumvit 20.

A casual, relaxed environment. A good menu, but we would have welcomed additional Jewish dishes such as gefillte fish, kanedlik (spelling?), Matzah-based dishes and so on. It also has well-stocked grocery and bakery area. We regretted the early 8 PM closing hour.
