about

“Fei ya means the flying duck.” The restaurant’s name signifies Fei ya Peking duck, a signature dish, and symbolically refers to prosperity as well. Fei ya, the Hong Kong style Chinese restaurant located on the 3rd floor of Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel. Since the hotel had opened, it’s been running for 8 years. It has a seating capacity of 120 and also has 2 private rooms, 12 persons per room. Modern Chinese interior design blends both Cantonese and Sichuan uniquely, decorated with red and gold hue. Above the tables are the gigantic gilded lanterns inspired by the Chinese peasant hat, or the Asian conical hat. Such mesmerizing lanterns perfectly blends the traditional ambience with modern sensibilities. Inside is also ornamented with the classical Chinese furniture, imported from China. The recommend dessert is Aloe vera lemongrass jelly with lime sauce. Both elder and younger guests are fascinated by this sweet-and-sour flavors. Lastly, we have buffet and a la carte dim sums. For buffet, customers can choose 1 noodle or rice dish, 1 soup and 1 dessert.

Shumai is always great, albeit lately they are making it more healthy(which means less pork fat) thus the past divine taste one experienced has diminished. Aside that other dimsum are really nice too. Thumbs Up!

Dim Sum very nice. Shumai used to be most divine in Bangkok but lately they took a lot of fat out of Shumai to make it more healthy and as result taste has gone south as well, but still it is quite good.
