Baan Ajarn Pub and Restaurant

Established in 1990 (three decades ago), Baan Ajarn, aka the house of a professor, is one of the most well-known authentic home-style Thai restaurants in Soi Rang Nam. The dimly lit space is casual and comfortable, with traditional decors and a large cityscape and an image of the Grand Palace on one wall. The overall atmosphere is just perfect for the professor to share his love for Thai food with the whole world. The menu offered range from the famous curries to local favorites like fried shrimp paste with bitter beans, shrimp, and minced pork, spicy fried crispy catfish and salted egg, salted beef fried with chili and crispy basil, and steamed sea bass with plum sauce.
