At Steam Era, we wish to usher in a new way of enjoying hot pot cuisines you love but with an innovative twist. Established since 2015, our flagship restaurant first opened its doors in Jalan Imbi. But with the growing numbers of our loyal patrons, we’ve added another branch in Sri Petaling as well as in Genting, where our patrons can dine in the warm comforts amid the chilly hillsides of nature as well. Choose from an array of delectable Chefs recommendations such as Scallop Porridge with Sea Crab, Pork Trotter Vermicelli, "Hunan" Style Blooded Duck Vermicelli, and Sichuan Spicy Steam Fish, just to name a few; or any of our many other offerings available but rest assured; we guarantee a satisfying meal every time!

The steamed seafood is very fresh as it's caught and cooked right in front of you. Mostly go for tiger prawns and clams. The Yong Chow fried rice is a nice filler. You can also opt for the porridge which is cooked under the steamed seafood. You get a nice broth with it. It is not worth the price ordering the Mushroom Platter and Steamed Broccoli. Not sure about the other vege dishes though.

I've been dining here for more than 5 times. Prawns & clams are always fresh. Love the condiment bar so much! Unlimited serving of my favourite coriander, ginger, garlic and many types of sauces. Super nice!!!
