It’s highly recommended by many with a claim that one would be able to sniff the authenticity of Sichuan hot pot just by walking through the restaurant’s front doors. Their Mala soup base is brimming with dried chilies, so much so that everyone around the table won't be able to help but to break out in wahs and huahs. This is definitely not a place to go if you want a quick bite, because what follows after is a hundred more. It’ll be a constant battle between pain and pleasure, but fret not as it’ll end with a satisfied belly and a proud nod of acknowledgement for Lao SiChuan.
