Dragon Door Inn Steamboat is the first authentic charcoal hot pot city in Malaysia. Since the flagship store in Cheras opened in 2010, the "pork bone soup", "chinese herbal soup", "chuan spicy soup", "Hung Hom Pot" and other pots have become popular among diners.
The store’s layout presents the traditional Chinese courtyard style. A lot of old roof tiles, green bamboo, wooden boards and large potted plants are used as decoration material. While "charcoal fire" has become a distant memory of people, using "charcoal fire" as a firing material has also become one of the characteristics of Dragon Door Inn.
The person in charge of the enterprise has been dormant for a year before opening the store, and has traveled to Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Chongqing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenyang to visit famous pots in the world, fully mastering the hot pot cooking skills, and trying to innovate tastes while maintaining the tradition.
As Malaysia is located in the tropics and is not the birthplace of hot pot, it is an important condiment for hot pot, ranging from spicy sauce and hot pepper to classic soup secrets, all imported from China, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea. The hot pot ingredients are selected from the freshest seasonal ingredients.
