The food is very good at here, there are various kind of cuisins to choose, like Indian, Chinese, Japanese. But there are not many choices for seafood and sashimi, and I think those are not very fresh. It is good that there is a free flow of foe gras which is very valuable , and the dessert are very nice too . I will go again next time when I visit Thai.

Also, prepared hot items should not be overlooked! Service was terrific - never waited to have plates cleared or water glasses refilled.

After the discount, we spent about 2,500 B for the dinner on a Friday night. Value for the money. Honestly, I liked the chocolate and the BBQ, but for the Chinese dim sum there was room for improvement. Staff was nice, and environment was good. Everything at the Rain Tree Cafe in the Athenee was excellent. The choices for the buffet covered many cuisines, all of high quality. I may be wrong, but they seem to add no or very little salt to their dishes, allowing the guests to salt or pepper to personal taste. This is so much appreciated and thoughtful for those of us with blood pressure considerations. The attentive service is always friendly and efficient. Highly recommended in this excellent hotel.

Wow, excellent food overall. Have fresh seafood of all sorts and many many hot & cold items to choose from. Highlights include the made to order grilled steak, lamb, lobster skewer and foie gras. After 50% off, phenomenal value indeed. Only slight disappointment was desserts which were too sweet overall. Service was above expectation too. The restaurant was fairly quiet on the night we went. Definitely high price performance ratio!

There are different stations: sushi, hot food, dessert and various seafood. The seafood was good and fresh, I liked the crab legs the most! Dessert also had a lot of different cakes and chocolates. I noted that food items were refilled on a timely manner, so nothing is ever left bare.
