Lai Chi Kok’s D2 Place is home to Japanese restaurant Umai, which is styled after a traditional fishing village pub and Tokyo’s alley taverns. The restaurant offers all things Japanese, from fresh seafood to izakaya bites. Among the favourites here are pan-seared egg roll with mentaiko and Kagoshima pork belly preserved in miso. As with all good Japanese restaurants, there are premium sakes and beers for diners’ enjoyment with their meals.
