Executive Chef Gu Jin Kwang introduces a contemporary interpretation of temple-style cuisine to Hong Kong at the helm of Soil to Soul. Ultimate with a broader concept for modern tastes, Soil to Soul’s philosophy still extends to such essential ingredients as salt, sugar, rice and soy sauce.

Amazing ambience and service, general manager especially. Great space and great food, bargain with eatigo discount. Definitely worth revisiting!

It’s a unique experience having seen how these recipes originated from a Buddhist nun as featured on Netflix’s Chef’s Table. My party of 4 did however find the food rather bland apart from the beef rib which actually turned out a little on the salty side. I feel we would have enjoyed the experience better if the staff had taken the time to explain the ingredients and the special cooking method. So although we enjoyed the experience, we may not come back to the restaurant anytime soon.

Attentive service and even the dish it didn’t show at lunch time menu the waiter still let us to order it .
