The spring chicken was nice and large, which I appreciated. However, I found the peri-peri sauce to have a peculiar taste, though the black pepper sauce was very good. The shop itself was smaller compared to other outlets I've visited, even though it was still nicely decorated. Additionally, the free refill water of blackcurrant and honeydew was too sweet for my taste. I also noticed that the menu was a bit different from other outlets.

The food was good, but the staff seem to not know how to serve. For instance, we ordered the food, and usually if I go to a restaurant the server would ask what drinks we wanted after, but this server didn’t ask and just walked away. Which is weird. Would I come here again? Probably not Menate Ampang, but would try different location.
