Dear Yaletown Management Team, I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the customer service my family and I experienced during our recent visit to your restaurant. We dined as a family of four and ordered just enough food for our meal. While your prices were relatively high, we were grateful to have received a discount through Eatigo. We were informed that takeout was not allowed, and we respected this policy. However, we had a small amount of leftover pasta from one dish, which my daughter particularly enjoyed. We politely requested to take the remaining portion home, but our request was firmly denied—even after we explained that the food had been fully paid for and that we try to avoid food waste whenever possible. What added to our frustration was the dismissive attitude of the staff. The supervisor continued to interrupt us while we were explaining our side and did not make any effort to listen or offer a reasonable solution. We ultimately left the restaurant feeling disappointed and disrespected. In hindsight, I would have preferred to waive the 10% Eatigo discount on that one dish if it meant we could have taken the leftovers home. That would have been a more practical and customer-friendly approach. I hope your team takes this feedback seriously and considers adjusting your policy or staff training to improve the overall dining experience for your future guests.

Servings were huge! Their Caeesar Salad is delicious as well as the Aubergine and calamari frites. Crab o'nara was ok. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. 👌 We'll definitely be back to try more food.
