Behind its door is a massive contemporary Chinese-style dining area filled with small and big tables and some private rooms. And as everyone would expect, the equally elegant menu overseen by a team of experienced Chinese chefs contributes solely to China’s rich culinary traditions. You can find everything from dim sum platters to peking duck and other Cantonese mouthwatering signatures. The beggar chicken (a whole chicken with spices stuffed in a huge Chinese bun) and steamed sticky rice with crab meat are examples of decadent surprise you should look forward to. Great in all respects. In particular the service, which was truly first class. In contrast, we have also been to the Siam Tea Room on the ground floor of Marriott Marquis Queens Park, and the service there was very sub-par and extremely slow. Avoid the Siam Tea Room at all costs.

The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and atmosphere. We celebrated my father’s birthday, and the staff surprised him with a small dessert and sang “Happy Birthday” in three languages. It was a wonderful and memorable experience.
