Conceived in a modern interpretation of Thai neo-colonial interior décor style, the three essential components of The Rain Tree Café evidence extreme elegance interwoven with threads of touching homeliness while making excellent use of natural light.
The main buffet and seating area, dubbed "The Bronze Kitchen", is in a classic kitchen style while the extensive seating offers modern renditions of aristocratic elegance. Overhead the ceiling is geometrically dimpled, faux halogen-lit for antique effect, and enchantingly corniced in vintage style. Various floor coverings - black and white chequers reflecting the princess's love of chess, finely filigreed ceramics, smooth marble and lustrous hardwoods - are used to define different spaces and infuse each with unique élan. Colorful cushions are strewn on the earth tones and autumn tints upholstered arm chairs and sofas. The demeanor of the waiters and waitresses in their natty black bistro-style aprons adds to the ambiance.

Second time at this amazing restaurant. They have an amazing buffet selection and cater well for me as I’m gluten and lactose free. They even made me special desserts and honestly the vegan crème caramel was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Thank you to the chef there and everyone who makes this place so special. Appreciate you all 🙏🏻

Food was delicious and plentiful as always. But the dessert section was not as good as previous visits. What also makes this visit memorable was the attention and treatment by the staff. Birthday sign and mini birthday cake and singing by the staff. Thank you.
